Profit Yacht | Outstanding Payments

Profit Yacht’s Outstanding Payments report helps charter managers quickly identify unpaid or partially paid bookings. Filter by date or boat, review outstanding amounts, and export reports to follow up before check-in, protect cash flow, and prevent payment issues from slipping through the cracks.

After asking what the biggest concern of a charter manager is, most give the same answer: having a client board the boat without having paid the charter in full, or with part of the payment still outstanding.

At Profit Yacht, we have developed a tool that allows charter managers to identify, with a single click, bookings that have not been fully paid or still have outstanding payments.

Outstanding Payments is part of the Reports section in Profit Yacht, alongside tools such as Duplicate Bookings.

The report analyzes all bookings and identifies those where payment has not been completed. Each result provides all the information needed to take action: the outstanding amount, total charter value, client contact details, and booking information.

You can also filter by upcoming booking dates to check whether any reservations in the coming days still have outstanding payments. This allows you to follow up in advance and contact clients before check-in. You can also filter by boat and export a report to share with the captain or owner, particularly when the second part of the payment is managed externally.

Another particularly useful view allows you to analyze outstanding payments by week and manage follow-ups systematically.

Results can be exported in CSV or PDF format to facilitate payment reminders and follow-up. This solution helps you keep revenue under control and avoid cash flow issues or payment claims after check-in, which can often take a long time to resolve. It also allows you to inform the captain on the same day that a payment is still outstanding and provide the POS terminal or payment link needed to complete the payment during the onboarding process.
